Ground ambulance

Global Ground Ambulance Assistance

Not every move needs an aircraft. Many patients need a safe ground transfer: from one hospital to another, to and from the airport, or home after discharge.

Azor arranges ground ambulance transfers worldwide, with a medical crew and equipment matched to the patient's condition, from a paramedic for a stable patient to an intensive-care team for a critical one.

Because the same Alarm Center desk coordinates every leg, the ground transfer lines up with the flight, the hospital and the family, so nobody is left waiting at the kerb.

How it works

From the first call to the handover

  1. Tell us the route

Where the patient is now, where they need to go and their current condition.

  2. Crew and vehicle matched

We choose the ambulance, crew and equipment that fit the patient's needs.

  3. Timing coordinated

We line the transfer up with discharge, flights and the receiving hospital.

  4. Safe transfer

The medical crew cares for the patient throughout the journey.

  5. Handover

The patient is handed over to the receiving team with their medical notes.

Can you arrange long-distance or cross-border ground transfers?

Yes, where it is safe and permitted. For long distances we will also tell you if a flight would be better for the patient.
